Our Place in Wicker Park

The Neighborhood We Call Home

Lincoln Park has always been shaped by the green space at its heart. What began as a small cemetery on Chicago’s North Side was transformed in the 19th century into the public park that would eventually give the neighborhood its name. In 1865, the park was renamed in honor of Abraham Lincoln, beginning its evolution into one of Chicago’s most recognizable lakefront spaces.

That history still lives throughout the neighborhood today. Lincoln Park Zoo, one of the country’s oldest free public zoos, has welcomed generations of Chicago families, while the nearby Lincoln Park Conservatory, with its historic glass structure dating to the 1890s, remains one of the neighborhood’s most distinctive landmarks.

Beyond the park, Lincoln Park has grown into a neighborhood where residential streets, restaurants, shops, schools, theaters, and lakefront life all come together. Students move between classes, families spend afternoons at the zoo, runners head toward the lake, and friends meet along Clark Street for something to eat.

That everyday rhythm is where Sultan’s Market feels at home.

Located on North Clark Street, our Lincoln Park restaurant brings the Middle Eastern food Chicago has known us for since 1995 into one of the city’s most walkable neighborhoods. Whether you’re looking for lunch after the zoo, something fresh after a day by the lakefront, or a Falafel Sandwich and Shawarma dinner to take home, Sultan’s is here when hunger finds you.

More than three decades after our story began in Chicago, we’re proud to have a place in Lincoln Park, serving fresh food in a neighborhood where people have always come together.
